Echo of Guinaudée Haiti Inc. is a New Jersey nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, religious, education, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distribution to organization that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding sections of any future federal tax code.

Marie Denise Villarceau, a registered nurse, established Echo of Guinaudée Haiti in 2008 as a nonprofit charitable and educational organization incorporated in the State of New Jersey and holding 501 c(3) tax-exempt status. Echo of Guinaudée Haiti operates with minimal administrative costs under the direction of a board comprised of both U.S. and Haitian members serving without compensation. In addition, Denise is supported in this project by her husband Rev. Yveniel St. Luc, a Seventh Day Adventist church pastor, church members, and many friends who have resolved that the gifts to the organization will go directly to help the people of Haiti.

The needs and objectives for establishing this effort arose when, with a small team of mostly church members, the Rev. St. Luc, and Denise traveled to Haiti for two weeks in the summer of 2008. They were greatly disturbed by the distress and despair of the people.

Rev. St. Luc and members of his church have since returned to Haiti and have built schools and a church. During their time there they thoroughly evaluated how and whom the organization might be able to help. They identified one rural community Guinaudée in dire need of resources and financial support. Echo of Guinaudée Haiti supported this operation for over four years.
